PsychonautEx Initiative Terms of Use Website, lead magnets, courses and community Effective date: 21 September 2026 1. Who we are PsychonautEx Initiative (“PsychonautEx”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Trinocular Media AS, a Norwegian limited company (“Trinocular”). Public-facing teaching and writing may appear under Alan Michael Houot. Company: Trinocular Media AS Platform: our websites, Kajabi pages, emails, downloadable materials, guided audio, courses and community spaces (together, the “Services”). 2. Agreement By visiting the site, downloading a lead magnet, joining an email list, buying a product, or joining a community space, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. We may update these Terms. The current version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms, except where Norwegian law requires a new consent. 3. What this is — and what it is not PsychonautEx offers educational materials about calm, disciplined exploration of inner territories after intense experiences. Content includes checklists, audio, courses, emails and community discussion. The Services are for education and personal reflection only. They are not: • medical, psychiatric, psychological or psychotherapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment; • a crisis service, emergency line or substitute for a licensed clinician; • legal advice about any substance, ceremony, retreat or jurisdiction; • an invitation, instruction or encouragement to obtain, possess or use any controlled substance. You are responsible for your own health decisions and for complying with the laws that apply to you. If you are in distress, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. Do not rely on our materials in a medical emergency. 4. Who may use the Services You must be at least 18 years old. If the country where you live sets a higher age for this kind of content, that higher age applies. You confirm that information you give us is accurate, and that you will keep account details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your login. 5. Lead magnets, email and accounts Free materials such as “The First Day Back” checklist and companion audio may be offered in exchange for an email address. Delivery may be split (for example, the checklist on a thank-you page and the audio after a reply to the first email). We may send operational messages needed to deliver what you asked for. Marketing email is sent only where we have a lawful basis under GDPR and the Norwegian Marketing Control Act. You can unsubscribe at any time. Paid courses, memberships and community access are licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own learning during the access period stated at checkout. You may not share logins, resell materials, or publish course videos, scripts or worksheets. 6. Community and user content If a community, comments or live sessions exist, you keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a limited licence to host, display and moderate that content so the community can function. Do not post: • requests or offers involving illegal activity; • detailed guidance on obtaining or manufacturing controlled substances; • other people’s private information, session notes or identifiable health details; • harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, spam or scraping. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. We do not undertake to monitor every post. 7. Intellectual property The PsychonautEx name, “Signal-First Field Guide” language, course structure, checklists, audio scripts, page design and other materials are owned by Trinocular or its licensors. Alan’s books and published writing remain subject to their own copyright notices. You may download materials we give you for personal use. You may not copy them into another product, course or public site without written permission. 8. Payments, refunds and access Prices are shown at checkout and may be processed by a third-party provider (for example Stripe via Kajabi). Refund rules will be stated on the sales page for each offer. If none are stated, Norwegian mandatory consumer rules for distance contracts apply to consumers in Norway and the EEA. We may suspend access if payment fails, if these Terms are broken, or if we must take a product offline. We will try to give reasonable notice where the law allows. 9. Third-party tools The Services may run on Kajabi and use email, analytics, payment and hosting providers. Those providers have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites we link to. 10. Disclaimer of warranties The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in our content guarantees a particular psychological outcome, “solid ground,” or any health result. Results vary. 11. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trinocular, its directors, and Alan Michael Houot are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your use of or reliance on educational content. For consumers in Norway and the EEA, nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or statutory consumer rights. Where liability can be limited, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim, or NOK 1,000 if you used only free materials. 12. Indemnity You will indemnify Trinocular against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your user content, or your breach of law or these Terms, except to the extent a claim is caused by our intent or gross negligence. 13. Suspension and termination You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue a product. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive. 14. Governing law and disputes These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Consumers in the EEA keep any mandatory protections of their country of residence. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, Norwegian courts have jurisdiction. Consumers may also use the EU ODR platform or the Norwegian Consumer Authority / Forbrukertilsynet where applicable. 15.
